It is becoming a rarity to find an early 911 that has not been fully restored to better then 'new' factory condition. This car is what we are all searching for, 1 owner for over 40 years and until last year was always in Italy (see the Italian specific front turn signals). The original owner sold it to his local Porsche dealership ( in Italy) where it was put on display in their showroom. The 3rd owner was on a vacation in Italy and stumbled upon on the small dealership and a deal was struck and now the car resides in Germany. I flew to Germany last week to inspect the car and take these photos- it so nice to come across survivors!

We are proud to offer for the first time out of our personal collection the only 1968 911L soft window Targa 'Police Car' built by the factory. This car is the jewel of our showroom and is flawless inside and out. It is the definition of a museum condition car. The car was originally ordered by Porsche North America for demonstration use at all the major auto shows. It was then used as a pace car at Bridgehampton Raceway towards the end of 1968. After a few races it was retired and purchased by the top Porsche dealer at that time, Bill Yates. Mr. Yates featured it in his showroom until the late 1980s and it has continued to remain in private hands with very little public display. This is one of the rarest cars that has ever been produced by the factory.
